  just flipped through the feb awake and the feb 1 public wat.

  first time since they went to 16 pages.

  my first impression was the large amount of blank space in both mags, really wasted space.

  More and more companies have discovered horsemeat DNA in their products.

  I have eaten horsemeat in France and for me it was no biggie but I can imagine people over here may get upset or even outraged, purely because it is not something most Brits are used to and it was done unwittingly.

  They now believe it has been present over here in burgers and TV style dinners for at least a year!

  So, as people have grown accustomed to eating horse here in UK and "survived" now could be a very convenient time for our insidious government to introduce and allow cheap horsemeat into all processed food used in our schools, hospitals, care-homes etc. to help keep their food budget down and more money in their pockets.

  We all know that mince in UK is actually only 50% meat the rest is collagen and filler. EU want to regulate how much s*it is allowed in our food without having to declare how much or changing it's name and Cameron is fighting it. He wants us to eat even more s*it without changing the labelling and then stick a "fat tax" on it. Meanwhile him and his cronies will still be able to enjoy their high class subsidised meals which are 100% undulterated with fillers all courtesy of the British taxpayer.

  just to update you all that we finally fly out to australia from the uk on the 13th.

  me and sleeping beauty are getting out of the sinking ship that is the uk!.

  will land in sydney on the 15th so will update you all once we get settled in.

  i got an unexpectedvisit from an elder an a new guy i never met before.

  he said jehovah hasnt forgotten me.

  they said all jws are filling out an emergency contact information form.

  Didn't the slaughter take place in Bethlehem whereas John the Baptist was in the Ephraim region of Jerusalem?

  Door to door salesman are virtually no longer used at all by double glazing salesman, insurance salesman, satellite TV salesman or men selling encyclopaedias and vacuum cleaners.

  They have become a thing of the past for a very good reason. No-one is home to buy their products. WT had no financial commitment to its salespersons so until recently never had to accept it was a fruitless search for finding new "buyers", plus it kept the sales peope it already had busy.

  Unfortunately for them as more and more people purchase items on-line with pages of reviews available and they are able to make a much better and more informed choice.

  Watchtower realised this fact and demonised the internet for so long because they wanted to avoid current members from learning what an insidious pack of lies they were spinning.

  Even if some-one is contacted at the door now most would immediately "search" jehovah's Witnesses and an array of possible anti- JW websites to peruse would pop up including wiki which has a criticism section. That would be my first stop if some-one tried to recruit me now.

  People evolve and selling practices have to as well. I think this is their first attempt at evolving the society into a more attractive package.
